About me
My name is Carlos and I am a PhD candidate working under the supervition of Dr Fowler in Imperial College London. My current research is on the reinforcement properties of carbon black recovered from pyrolysis of tyres.
As a material scientist, I find a broad variety of topics interesting. I am particularly passionate about polymer science, applied physics, and instrumentation science. I write content for this site to help others understand what I found most challenging when learning.
Although new articles to this website take long to appear, I make sure the information published is up to date and correct. For this purpose I appreciate any feedback form readers and I love to learn from others and solve problems together. You may contact me on Linkedin.
Being a student is hard, and maintaining a website is not free. So, if you enjoy my content, I would be very grateful if you buy me a coffee.
